Rock Trollhammer is a troll who lives in Trollzopolis and the love interest of Ruby Trollman.

Rock has blue hair, light blue eyes, blue eyebrows and he wears a sports purple leather jacket, grey tracksuits and red shoes.

Well, the name pretty much says it all. If it weren't for his Trollish hair, Rock could probably be confused for an ogre. There have always been amazing stories of growth spurts but Rock's is totally the most amazing. After one summer vacation everybody came back different — Coal's voice got deeper, Jasper got into hip-hop, Alabaster got an inch taller — Rock got about 35 more pounds of muscle and could eat 23 Trollburgers in one sitting! Although she doesn't always know it, the majority of Rock's muscle flexing is for Ruby. All of Rock's muscle is powerless when faced with Ruby's smile or her red hot temper. But even when Ruby's exasperated with her muscle-bound crush, she tries to keep her cool because she knows whatever Rock does, his intentions are good and his strongest muscle is the one that really counts: his heart. |

Rock is shown to have the intelligence of an actual rock and a real bad temper, but he still manages to capture Ruby Trollman's heart.

Rock is not very intelligent, lacking basic understanding of words and phrases and common sense. He is the least intelligent of the Boyz and the opposite of Alabaster Trollington III.

He and Sapphire Trollzawa dated sometime prior to the start of the series, but Sapphire broke up with him for unknown reasons -- however, they're shown to be on good terms to the point of where Sapphire has no problem with Rock going out with Ruby, one of her best friends.
Etymology[]
Rocks are alternative word for hardened minerals from the earth.
"Troll hammer" just translated to implay his family made hammers for Trolls, his name implies the meaning of "Rock, maker of Troll hammers".

- In The Day the Magic Died Coal Trollwell commented that he weighed more than Flint Trollentino, Jasper Trollhound and Alabaster Trollington III.
