Simon is the main antagonist of the syndicated animated television series Trollz.

Simon is a rebel without a cause or a sense of style. He's also a gremlin, which means he will forever look like a 9 year old little boy - no wonder he's angry, huh?
Not only does Simon have a bad attitude, he's also got a police record that makes him Trollzopolis Public Enemy #1! Simon's bad boy days started in the Ancient Times when he tried to take over the world. It took ten trollz, five young and five old, to banish the little sucker to the Netherworld.
Unfortunately, the BFFL (Best Friends For Life) accidentally awakened his powers and now he's back with big plans: Take over Trollzopolis! Luckily, Simon doesn't know anything about new technology. He's so behind the times he could practically confuse a spell phone for a bar of soap (not that Simon washes up much, he's too busy to take over the world to worry about personal hygiene)!

Past[]
Simon created Black Amber some 3,000+ years ago and disrupted the Trollz magic. He was beaten by The Ancients, although before he was beaten managed to trap Zirconia in a tree and turn her husband Spinell into a dragon, forcing him to watch over her for 3,000+ years and preventing anyone freely both her and himself from Simon. Simon was defeated and banished for his actions of the past, which caused a disruption to Trollz magic. The disruption caused male Trollz to lose their ability to create magic, restricting the magic to just females.

Simon is freed in Five Spells Trouble when BFFL cast a spell using all 5 of their Spell gems magic, the power was meant to make Coal Trollwell cooler, instead it froze him and disrupted the magic that had held him back for thousands of years.
Etymology[]
It is unknown why he is called "Simon" and the name is an oddball for the series that normally names its characters after gems and minerals. It’s possible it could be short for Simmonsite.
